Warranty and managed care

The mechanical movement of your ochs und junior has earned itself a spot of TLC (tender loving care) after four to six years on your wrist! Here is a summary of what it needs by way of managed care in the workshop after that period of time:

Managed care: routine maintenance

• Dismantling all the components
• Cleaning
• Overhauling or replacing mechanical parts
• Re-assembling the movement
• Lubrication
• Regulation
• Replacing the case back, crystal and crown gaskets
• Duration: three weeks
• Price: anno cinquanta: CHF 700

  Price: idea, tinta, settimana junior:
  CHF 300

  (incl. 8% Swiss VAT / shipping extra)

As you and your ochs und junior go through life together, its case acquires an accumulation of experiences in the form of marks, little scratches and so forth. These should be allowed to remain. After servicing, we will return your timepiece to you complete with its patina of life.

Even submarines spring leaks sometimes, which is why we recommend you have the watertightness of the tinta and settimana junior checked once a year (do it in the summer when the weather's really hot). Any reputable watch retailer should be able to test it. If the watch fails its watertightness test, this is what it needs:
