Ludwig’s Treasure Chest of ideas
Ludwig Oechslin bubbles over with ideas!
"If I need something new, I make it myself."
And he often does.
Every watch he has ever designed – even those from Ulysse Nardin – come from the same source. Welling up inside him are concepts for watches, which he then works on in his cellar, where he machines and produces his prototypes. His creations are imbued with a particular character, in which are focused his all-embracing scientific, academic, artistic and philosophical faculties. The result? Reductionism: everything pared down to the minimum number of moving parts – with functionality writ large.
Welcome to Ludwig’s Treasure Chest of ideas!
You can now adorn your wrist with the products that are beginning to emerge from the treasure chest. Friends of ochs und junior will be pleased to know that we are releasing a few pre-production timepieces for sale as we fine-tune each concept.
There are plenty more surprises in the pipeline – so watch this space!
